Editing h.264 files is a bit more difficult than editing mpeg2 files, probably because the files are compressed more. VideoReDo TVSuite also works great for mpeg2 files. VideoReDo TVSuite is an excellent choice for editing out commercials and saving into h.264 files.

Most video editing software that has h.264 support is only designed to string small videocam clips together. I've tested several video editing software packages, none were even close to VideoReDo's ease of use and very functional interface.
